What we checked
The preview website was technically reviewed on 10 September 2026, browsing without signing in and scrolling through Home, Contact and Admission. No HTTP cookies being set or requests to analytics or advertising tools were observed during those visits. This does not mean that a provider cannot use them in other browsers, sessions or configurations.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage, are described below.
Storage identified
- complutum-language-choice
- First-party · localStorage · language preference. Saved when you choose a language. There is no automatic expiry: it remains until you remove it or change your preference. It remembers the selection you requested.
- wpEmojiSettingsSupports
- First-party · sessionStorage · technical. WordPress checks whether the browser supports emojis. It lasts for the tab session.
- complutum-map-consent-v1
- First-party · localStorage · privacy choice. Stores your acceptance or rejection of Google Maps and the date. The choice becomes invalid after 180 days and is removed when expiry is checked on a new page load. It is not used for advertising.
No names or durations are attributed to third-party cookies that were not observed. Cookies used to sign in to the WordPress administration area are outside the audited public browsing experience.
Google Maps, only if you choose
The embedded map stays blocked until you accept it. Its provider is Google; when enabled, your browser requests content from maps.google.com, google.com, maps.gstatic.com and maps.googleapis.com. Google receives connection data and may use cookies or storage depending on its configuration and your session.
No cookies were observed after loading the map in the test without a Google account session. The same result cannot be guaranteed in every situation. See Google's cookie technologies and its privacy policy for its purposes, providers and terms.
The review of the enabled map also observed requests to places.googleapis.com, a Google service associated with the map.
Fonts and social media
Google Fonts downloads typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Connections were observed, but no associated cookies during the audited visit. These connections display the typeface and are not controlled by map preferences.
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are provided as links, not embedded posts. Following a link takes you to that provider's website, where its own policies apply.
Accept, reject or change your mind
If there is no valid decision, a bottom bar stays visible until you accept, reject or save a selection. Scrolling, following a link or closing the panel does not authorise maps. Your choice, decision date, expiry and information version are stored locally in your browser without creating a tracking identifier. A valid choice is kept when changing pages or languages.
You can use the website without enabling Google Maps. Accept and reject are available at the same level in the panel. Closing the panel does not mean accepting.
You can withdraw permission through this panel or the footer link. This unloads the map; any cookies Google may already have stored must be removed in your browser settings. Rejecting the map does not automatically delete storage belonging to other domains.
To remove first-party preferences, use your browser's option to clear data for this website. If storage is blocked, your choice will only apply to the open page.
Further information
The website controller and your personal data rights are described in the Privacy policy. Integrations must be reviewed again if embedded videos, analytics, advertising or other services are added.
